Porous Soaker Hose 1/2" – Efficient Garden Irrigation System
This landscape grade porous soaker hose is designed to deliver water slowly and evenly along its entire length, allowing plants to receive moisture directly at the root zone. Thanks to its porous structure, water gently seeps through the hose wall, ensuring consistent watering while significantly reducing water consumption compared to traditional sprinklers.
The hose can be installed on the surface of the soil or buried underground, making it a perfect solution for gardens, vegetable beds, landscaping and greenhouse irrigation.

Hose Versions
Hoses between 7.5m and 30m are supplied with hose connectors for quick and easy connection to standard garden hose fittings.
Longer irrigation hoses 50m and 100m are supplied as hose only, allowing custom system installation and extension.
The 200m option is supplied as 2 × 100m hoses.

Recommended Water Pressure
For best performance the porous soaker hose should operate at low water pressure.
Optimal working pressure
0.5 – 0.7 BAR (7 – 10 PSI)
At this pressure the hose releases water evenly along its entire length, ensuring efficient irrigation directly at the plant roots.
If pressure is too low
If the pressure is below 0.4 BAR, water may start dripping only from the beginning section of the hose, while the rest of the hose receives insufficient flow.
If pressure is too high
If the pressure exceeds 1 BAR, water may escape more rapidly near the end of the hose, which can lead to uneven watering and reduced irrigation efficiency.
Recommended installation tips
• For best results keep the irrigation line under 30 meters per loop
• Use a pressure reducer or tap regulator if necessary
• Lay the hose on level ground or bury it 15–20 cm below soil
Professional tip
For large irrigation systems it is recommended to install a pressure regulator (0.5–0.7 BAR) to maintain consistent water distribution along the entire hose.
Soaker hoses are designed for low-pressure irrigation systems and should not be connected directly to high-pressure water sources without regulation.
