EASY TO CLEAN

|
These narrow-neck glass demijohns are designed for controlled fermentation of homemade drinks. The transparent glass allows you to observe the contents and follow the progress of fermentation, while the protective plastic basket provides additional practicality during handling.
The demijohns are particularly well suited for the secondary fermentation and maturation stage of wine and other homemade beverages. For fruit wines, it is generally recommended to carry out the first vigorous fermentation in a suitable fermentation vessel and then transfer the liquid to the glass demijohn after the first racking and removal of the fruit.
The glass is intended for food contact, including alcoholic beverages. The construction is designed for home-use fermentation, storage and monitoring of your homemade drinks.

A range of suitable closures and fermentation accessories is available separately, including rubber bungs with an opening for a glass or plastic fermentation airlock, solid rubber closures and suitable caps/cork closures.
| Avoid thermal shock | Do not expose the glass to sudden temperature changes. |
| Cleaning temperature | Do not use water hotter than 50°C. |
| Recommended cleaning | Use lukewarm water with a suitable sanitising solution, such as potassium metabisulphite or an appropriate Oxi-type cleaner. |
| Before first use | Allow the demijohn to reach room temperature before use and avoid rapid temperature changes. |
