The Porous Pipe Garden Irrigation Kit (POROUS-KIT2) is a complete watering solution designed to deliver efficient, low-pressure irrigation directly to plant roots while reducing water waste and installation time. Ideal for gardens, flower beds, allotments, vegetable patches, landscaping, greenhouses, and lawns.
This all-in-one irrigation system includes a 100m porous soaker hose together with a 20m economy garden hose and a full range of connectors and accessories required for quick DIY installation.
The porous hose slowly releases water through thousands of micro-pores along the entire length of the pipe, delivering a consistent and gentle water supply exactly where plants need it most. This helps minimise evaporation, reduce surface runoff, and improve root development while using up to 70% less water compared to traditional watering methods.
Manufactured from durable recycled rubber, the hose is flexible, UV resistant, algae resistant, and suitable for long-term outdoor use. It can be installed above ground or buried up to approximately 20cm underground for discreet and efficient irrigation.
The included pressure reducing connector helps maintain optimal water flow and prevents excessive pressure, ensuring reliable and even watering performance across the system.
For best results:
• Recommended operating pressure: approx. 0.5–1 BAR
• Recommended maximum single hose run: up to 30m
• For installations longer than 30m, we recommend feeding the system from both ends or dividing into multiple sections to maintain even water distribution and consistent flow.
