Heat-Resistant Rubber Hose Reinforced with Textile Braid – 8mm/13mm
Heat-Resistant Rubber Hose Reinforced with Textile Braid – 8mm/13mm
The DIN 73379 Type B hose is designed for medium-pressure fuel delivery and features low permeation properties, making it compatible with fuels like petrol, ethanol, sour gas, diesel, and biodiesel. With a working pressure of 10 bar and a burst pressure of up to 30 bar, it ensures consistent performance in demanding environments. Constructed from NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), it combines flexibility with excellent resistance to chemicals and fuel vapours, ensuring long-term reliability in various applications, especially in fuel injection systems.
One of the key advantages of this hose is its heat-resistant textile braid made of CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene), which withstands temperatures from -40°C to +90°C. This material offers high resistance to fuels, oils, and lubricants — including biodiesel — while also providing strong protection against ozone and harsh weather conditions. This durable outer layer makes the hose suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications where environmental resistance is essential.
Compliant with strict ROHS, EPA, and CARB standards (in accordance with CARB 13CCR section 2754), this hose supports reduced fuel vapour emissions and meets environmental safety regulations. Its low-permeation design makes it a responsible choice for eco-conscious fuel system designs.
Highly versatile, the hose is suitable for use with fuels containing up to 50% aromatic content, high-performance fuels, diesel, coolants, and non-oxidising cleaning agents. Its adaptable design supports efficient and safe operation in both automotive and industrial systems, helping to maintain the reliability and functionality of your equipment.
For additional product specifications, please refer to the ‘Specifications’ section.
Note: The hose is generally suitable for mineral oil-based power steering fluids, though checking the system’s working pressure is advised. Not intended for use in brake systems.
