This MDPE wall flange tap kit offers a durable and adaptable solution for connecting 20mm MDPE pipes to external water sources, ideal for both residential and commercial setups.
MDPE (Medium-Density Polyethylene) fittings are commonly used in irrigation, water distribution, and industrial systems due to their strength, flexibility, and resistance to chemicals. These fittings feature threaded compression joints for a tight, leak-proof seal—easy to install and requiring no specialist tools. The flange enables mounting to flat surfaces, adding extra installation options.
Rated for PN10, these fittings are designed to handle pressures up to 10 bar (approx. 145 psi), offering excellent resistance to weather, mechanical damage, and chemical corrosion. They are long-lasting and reduce the need for ongoing maintenance.
The included garden tap is made of nickel-plated brass, offering strong protection against corrosion and wear. It features a 1/2" BSP male thread for easy installation and a 1/2" hose barb outlet for a secure hose connection. The precisely designed barb ensures a tight grip that prevents leaks and disconnections, keeping water flow steady and uninterrupted.
The lever-style handle allows for smooth and effortless control of water flow. An integrated side lock makes it possible to add a padlock, preventing unauthorised use and giving you peace of mind in shared or public spaces.
Note: PTFE tape is not included and should be purchased separately if required.
