The 1" BSP Male to 3/4" BSP Female brass fitting is a durable and versatile component, designed for rainwater harvesting and other fluid storage applications. Made from high-grade, robust brass, it withstands various environmental conditions while delivering long-lasting performance. This fitting is specially crafted to adapt a 1” BSP male thread to a 3/4” BSP female thread, offering a practical solution for joining pipes or fittings of different sizes within your water butt or container setup.

If your barrel or container already features a female thread, the 1" BSP male connector can be directly screwed in to form a secure and leak-proof connection. Where there is no existing thread, the fitting can be installed by creating a hole and fastening it with the supplied washers and back nut. This method guarantees a tight and reliable seal, helping to maintain the integrity of your water storage system.

To mount the fitting directly onto a container, drill a 33mm hole suitable for the 1" BSP male thread. After removing the back nut and one washer, insert the fitting through the hole making sure the remaining washer is positioned inside the barrel. Tighten the nut to securely fasten the connector. The washer provides an extra layer of protection against leaks. This straightforward, easy-to-install fitting is essential for anyone intending to customise or enhance their water storage solutions, combining flexibility with durability.
