The Water Butt Brass Connector features a 3/4" BSP male thread reducing to a 1/2" BSP female thread, providing a sturdy and adaptable fitting suitable for rainwater collection and various fluid storage applications. If your barrel or container has a female thread, the 3/4" BSP male fitting can be screwed in directly for a seamless and secure connection. In the absence of a pre-threaded hole, the fitting can be attached by drilling a 26mm opening and securing it with the supplied washers and back nut. This installation method ensures a reliable, leak-proof seal and helps maintain system integrity.

To install, remove the back nut and one washer, insert the fitting through the hole with the remaining washer positioned inside the barrel, then tighten the nut firmly. The washer serves as an additional barrier against leaks.
