The 3/4" BSP male to 1/2" BSP female brass water butt connector is a durable and versatile fitting, ideal for rainwater collection systems and other fluid storage setups. Made from premium brass, it is designed to endure harsh conditions and ensure long-term reliability.
If your barrel has a female thread, the 3/4" BSP male connector can be easily screwed in for a secure fit. If there is no existing thread, you can create a 26mm hole and fix the connector in place using the included washers and back nut, ensuring a leak-proof seal and robust attachment.
Installation involves placing the connector through the hole with a washer inside the container, then tightening the back nut. This setup provides a secure and watertight connection, essential for effective water storage and management.
The kit also includes a garden cross bib tap, crafted from nickel-plated brass for strength and corrosion resistance. The tap features a 1/2" BSP male inlet and a 1/2" hose barb outlet designed with precise barbs to grip the hose tightly, preventing leaks and accidental disconnections.
The quarter-turn lever allows for easy water flow control with a single motion. The tap’s 8cm extended length offers improved usability and convenience during watering tasks, making it a practical addition to any garden setup.
PTFE tape (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plumber’s tape or thread seal tape, is included to help create a reliable, leak-proof seal on threaded connections.
