The Water Butt Brass Connector features a 3/4" BSP male thread reducing to a 1/2" BSP female thread, offering a durable and versatile fitting designed for rainwater harvesting and other liquid storage systems. If your barrel or container has an existing female thread, the 3/4" BSP male connector can be screwed directly in, creating a smooth and secure connection. For containers without pre-threaded holes, the fitting can be installed by drilling a suitable hole and securing it with the included washers and back nut. This method ensures a tight, leak-proof seal that maintains the integrity of your water storage system.

Installation involves creating a 26mm hole, removing the back nut and one washer, inserting the connector through the hole, and then positioning the remaining washer inside the container before tightening the nut. The washer offers additional protection against leaks. The included 1/2" BSPM Plastic Garden Tap features a modern grey and white design and a Quick-Lock Connector, making it simple to attach and detach hoses and irrigation components in seconds with a secure, watertight connection.
