The water butt brass connector features a 3/4" BSP male thread reducing to a 1/2" BSP female thread, providing a reliable and durable fitting ideal for rainwater harvesting and various fluid storage systems. If your barrel or container already includes a female thread, the 3/4" BSP male fitting can be screwed in directly, ensuring a smooth and secure connection. For containers without pre-existing threads, installation involves drilling a 26mm hole and securing the fitting with the supplied washers and back nut. This method guarantees a tight, leak-proof seal, preserving the integrity of your water storage system.

To fit the connector, remove the back nut and one washer, push the fitting through the hole with the remaining washer inside the container, then tighten the nut firmly. The washer adds an extra seal to prevent leaks. The included 1/2" BSP male Plastic Garden Tap in grey and white features a Quick-Lock Connector for simple and fast attachment or removal of hoses and irrigation equipment.
