The 3/4" BSP male to 1/2" BSP female brass connector is a strong and adaptable component ideal for use in rainwater harvesting systems and fluid storage containers. For barrels or tanks with an existing female thread, the connector can be installed directly. If no thread is available, you can drill a hole and use the provided washers and back nut to secure it firmly. This installation method ensures a tight seal that prevents leakage and maintains the efficiency of your water storage system.
To install the connector, drill a 26mm hole in the container. Remove the nut and one washer, insert the fitting from the outside, and ensure the inner washer is placed inside the barrel. Tighten the nut to complete the seal. This easy setup makes the fitting a great upgrade for anyone seeking a reliable and durable water system connection.
The included garden lever tap is made of nickel-plated brass, offering high strength and corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor use.
