The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to enhance your water butt or rain barrel’s functionality. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, offering a practical 50mm outward extension. This additional length makes it easier to access the water in your barrel, whether filling watering cans or attaching a hose, thus improving the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system.

The connector has a ½" BSP thread size compatible with a 21mm hole. For installation, it can be smoothly screwed into existing female threads on your container, ideal if your water butt already has them fitted. If your barrel lacks pre-existing threads, you can still fix the connector by drilling a hole in your preferred location. Once installed, the extension provides ample room for hose attachment or container filling.

The accompanying back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to the water butt. The back nut offers a reliable lock to keep the fitting securely in place under pressure. This combination is easy to fit and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
