The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, providing a convenient 50mm outward extension. This extension makes it easier to access the water stored inside your barrel, simplifying tasks such as filling watering cans or attaching a hose. The connector has a ½" BSP thread size, suitable for a 21mm hole. Installation is straightforward: it can be smoothly screwed into existing female threads on your container, making it ideal if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. If your barrel does not have pre-existing threads, the connector can still be securely fitted by drilling a hole at the desired location. Once installed, the extension offers ample space for attaching hoses or filling containers.

The accompanying back nut and washers secure the water butt extension firmly to your container. The back nut provides a strong lock, ensuring the fitting stays firmly in place even under pressure. This combination is easy to install and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent setups.
