This extension connector offers a practical way to improve access to your water butt or barrel. Featuring a male BSP thread on one end and a female BSP thread on the other, it extends the outlet by 50mm, making hose connections and water retrieval significantly more convenient.

With a ½” BSP thread, the fitting is compatible with a 21mm hole. It can be screwed into a pre-threaded container, or easily installed in a new hole if one doesn’t already exist. Once in place, it offers solid, accessible external threading for tap or hose connections.

The included locking nut and sealing washers ensure a secure and leak-resistant assembly. Designed for both temporary and permanent setups, they help to distribute force evenly and prevent leaks or distortion during tightening.

The washers enhance durability by protecting against wear and deformation. They also help form a watertight seal, ensuring consistent performance and preventing water waste.

The included barbed lever tap is made from corrosion-resistant, zinc nickel-plated material and features a ½” hose barb outlet. Built for reliability, the lever mechanism provides smooth control over water flow — ideal for tasks that require frequent shutoff or adjustment.

The barbed outlet ensures a tight fit with standard hoses. Simply push the hose over the barb to create a firm and leak-free connection — no tools or clamps required.

The 21mm HSS hole saw drill bit included is designed for clean and accurate cuts in a range of materials, from metal and wood to plastic. The high-speed steel build offers durability and heat resistance for long-term performance.

Ideal for creating holes for ½” BSP fittings, this hole saw is stable and low-vibration when used with a power drill. It's a must-have for quick, clean installation in water butt and plumbing projects.
