The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, providing a convenient 50mm outward extension. This extension makes it easier to access the water stored in your barrel, simplifying tasks such as filling watering cans or attaching a hose, thereby enhancing your rainwater harvesting system’s usability.

The ½" BSP thread size fits a 21mm hole. For installation, the connector can be smoothly screwed into existing female threads on your container, making it an ideal solution if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. If your barrel lacks existing threads, you can still install the connector by drilling a hole at the preferred location. Once fitted, the connector extends outward by 50mm, offering plenty of space for hose attachments or filling containers.

The included back nut and washers secure the water butt extension firmly to your water butt. The back nut provides a strong lock, ensuring the fitting stays in place under pressure. This combination is straightforward to install and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
