The ½” BSP water butt extension is a practical component designed to improve access to water stored in barrels or tanks. It features a male BSP thread on one side and a female BSP thread on the other, allowing for a 50mm outward extension from the container. This makes connecting accessories or filling cans much easier, especially when space around the outlet is limited.

Compatible with 21mm drilled holes, the extension can be screwed directly into existing female threads. If your water butt lacks a threaded outlet, the included drill bit allows you to create the necessary hole for installation. The connector extends the outlet far enough to accommodate hoses or other fittings easily.

The back nut and washers provided secure the extension tightly to the container. The nut ensures the fitting remains stable under pressure, while the washers prevent leaks by evenly distributing the force and creating a watertight seal. This setup is simple to install and can be used in both temporary and permanent setups.

The brass garden tap features a durable construction and intuitive on/off turning mechanism. It is designed for long-lasting outdoor use, making it an ideal choice for everyday garden watering needs.
