The extension connector is a practical component designed to improve access to stored rainwater. With a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, it adds a 50mm outward extension to your water butt, enabling easier connection of watering cans or hoses and enhancing day-to-day usability.

Featuring a 1/2" BSP thread, this extension fits into a 21mm hole and can be easily screwed into an existing female thread. In the absence of pre-threaded holes, a new one can be created using the included drill bit. Once installed, the extension provides extra space for water dispensing or hose attachments.

The included nut and washers are intended to firmly secure the extension in place. The nut offers a solid hold, maintaining a leak-free fit even under pressure, while allowing for straightforward installation and removal as needed.

The washers help evenly distribute force during installation, reducing the chance of surface damage or deformation. They also ensure a watertight seal, making the connection reliable and effective, especially in water-based systems.

The 1/2" BSPM plastic tap in stylish grey and white comes equipped with a Quick Connector, allowing fast and secure attachment or removal of hoses and accessories. Made from durable plastic, it’s resistant to corrosion and suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. The BSPM threading ensures compatibility with standard water butt fittings.
