The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, offering a useful 50mm outward extension. This extension makes it easier to access stored water, simplifying tasks such as filling watering cans or connecting hoses, thereby enhancing your rainwater harvesting system’s overall usability.

The connector has a ½" BSP thread size, suitable for a 21mm hole. Installation is straightforward: it can be smoothly screwed into existing female threads on your container, ideal if your water butt already has threaded fittings. If your barrel lacks pre-existing threads, the connector can still be securely fitted by drilling a hole in the desired position. Once installed, the extension provides ample space for hose attachment or container filling.

Included back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to your water butt. The back nut offers a reliable lock to keep the fitting in place even under pressure. This combination is easy to install and remove, making it suitable for both temporary and permanent setups.
