The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to enhance your water butt or rain barrel. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, providing a convenient 50mm outward extension. This extension makes it easier to access the water in your barrel, simplifying tasks such as filling watering cans or attaching a hose, thereby improving the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting setup.

The connector fits a 21mm hole with its ½" BSP thread size. Installation is straightforward: it can be easily screwed into existing female threads on your container, making it ideal for barrels that already have pre-installed threads. If your barrel does not have a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be fitted by drilling a hole at the desired position. Once in place, it extends outwards by 50mm, offering plenty of space for attaching hoses or filling containers.

The kit includes a back nut and washers, which securely fasten the water butt extension to your barrel. The back nut provides a firm lock, ensuring the fitting stays securely in place even under pressure. This combination is simple to install and remove, making it suitable for both temporary and permanent setups. These components are robustly made to withstand demanding conditions, guaranteeing durability and longevity.

The washers are crucial for evenly distributing the tightening load across the surface, helping to prevent damage or deformation during installation.
