The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the usability of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, this connector provides a convenient 50mm extension, making it easier to fill watering cans or connect hoses.

With a 3/4" BSP thread size suitable for a 26mm hole, installation is straightforward. The connector can be effortlessly screwed into existing female threads on your container, which is ideal if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. Alternatively, if your barrel lacks such threads, you can install this by creating a hole in the desired position.

Once fitted, the extension projects 50mm outward, providing ample space to attach hoses or fill containers comfortably. This enhancement makes accessing stored water simpler, increasing the overall convenience of your rainwater harvesting system.

The back nut and washers included secure the extension firmly to your water butt. The back nut ensures a tight lock, holding the fitting securely even under pressure. These components are easy to fit and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent setups. Their robust construction guarantees durability and long service life, even in demanding outdoor environments.

The washers play a key role in evenly distributing tightening forces, preventing any damage or deformation during assembly. Additionally, they provide an effective seal that minimises the risk of leaks, ensuring a watertight connection. The Threaded Purple Back Valve with ¾” BSP male thread and 13mm barb is designed for reliable and efficient low-pressure irrigation use. It provides simple on/off control with straight-through flow, allowing easy regulation of water in various irrigation setups.

Built to operate at pressures up to 300 kPa, this valve is ideal for low-pressure irrigation systems, including those supplied by rainwater tanks or other non-pressurised sources.
