The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, this connector adds a convenient 50mm extension to make filling watering cans or attaching a hose easier.

With a 3/4" BSP thread suitable for a 26mm hole, the connector can be easily screwed into existing female threads on your container if fitted. This makes it an ideal upgrade for water butts already equipped with threads. If your barrel does not have a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be fitted by drilling a hole in the desired location.

Once installed, the connector extends 50mm outwards, providing ample space to attach hoses or fill containers comfortably. This extension enhances access to the stored water, improving the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system. Whether you want to make watering cans easier to fill or create a more accessible outlet for hoses, this extension is a practical addition.

The back nut and washers included in this kit secure the water butt extension in place. The back nut provides a firm lock to keep the fitting stable even under pressure. This combination is simple to install and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent setups.
