The water butt extension connector is a practical accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. With a BSP male thread at one end and a BSP female thread at the other, this connector adds a convenient 50mm extension, making it easier to fill watering cans or connect a hose.

The connector has a 3/4" BSP thread size suitable for a 26mm hole. It can be simply screwed into existing female threads on your container if already fitted. This makes it an ideal upgrade for water butts with pre-existing threads. If your barrel does not have a thread, the connector can still be installed by drilling a hole in the desired spot.

Once fitted, the connector extends 50mm outward, providing plenty of room to attach hoses or fill containers comfortably. This extension improves access to the stored water, making your rainwater harvesting system easier to use. Whether you want to simplify filling watering cans or create a more convenient hose outlet, this extension is a valuable addition to any rainwater collection setup.

The included back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to the water butt. The back nut ensures a tight, secure lock to keep the fitting stable, even under pressure. This combination is straightforward to fit and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
