The water butt extension connector is a handy accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, it offers a convenient 50mm extension to make filling watering cans or connecting hoses easier.

Suitable for a 3/4" BSP thread size that fits a 26mm hole, this connector can be easily screwed into pre-existing female threads on your container. If your barrel does not have pre-installed threads, the connector may also be fitted by drilling a hole in the desired position.

Once fitted, the extension projects outward by 50mm, providing sufficient clearance for hose attachments or container filling. This improvement enhances access to your stored water, increasing the practicality of your rainwater harvesting system.

The kit includes a back nut and washers which secure the extension firmly to your water butt. The back nut ensures a tight hold, keeping the fitting securely in place under pressure. Both components are straightforward to install and remove, suitable for temporary or permanent use. Their robust construction guarantees durability in demanding environments.

The washers play an important role by evenly distributing the tightening force, helping to prevent damage or distortion during installation. They also create an effective seal to minimise leaks, ensuring a watertight connection vital for fluid applications, maintaining system integrity and preventing waste.

Included is a 3/4" BSPM plastic Garden Dial Tap in modern grey and white. This tap features a Quick-Lock Connector, allowing for swift and simple attachment or removal of hoses and irrigation equipment, providing a secure, leak-free connection. Constructed from durable plastic, it resists corrosion and suits both indoor and outdoor use.

The two-way tap splitter included is a versatile and practical component that improves your water distribution setup.
