The water butt extension connector is a practical accessory designed to enhance your water butt or rain barrel’s functionality. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, offering a convenient 50mm extension to make filling watering cans or attaching hoses simpler.

This connector has a 3/4" BSP thread suitable for a 26mm hole. Installation is straightforward, as it can be easily screwed into pre-existing female threads on your container. If your barrel lacks these threads, the connector can still be fitted by drilling a hole in the preferred location.

Once installed, the extension protrudes 50mm, providing ample room for hose attachment or container filling. This improvement makes accessing the water stored in your barrel more convenient, improving the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system.

The included back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to your water butt, with the back nut ensuring a reliable lock to keep the fitting in place under pressure. This combination is easy to fit and remove, making it suitable for both temporary and permanent installations. Their sturdy construction offers durability and long-term service, even in challenging environments.

The washers play a vital role by distributing the tightening load evenly across the surface, protecting against damage or deformation during assembly.
