The water butt extension is a practical accessory that improves access and functionality of water butts and rain barrels. With a male BSP thread on one end and female BSP on the other, it adds a 50mm extension – ideal for connecting hoses or filling watering cans more comfortably.

It has a 3/4" BSP thread designed for use with a 26mm hole. Installation is straightforward: it can be screwed directly into an existing threaded outlet. If your water butt does not have one, you can create an opening with the included drill bit.

Once installed, it protrudes by 50mm, offering greater clearance for hose fittings and container access. Whether you're watering the garden or setting up a more accessible outlet, this extension is a reliable upgrade for any rainwater harvesting setup.

The kit also includes a back nut and sealing washers to secure the extension fitting. The nut locks it firmly in place, ensuring it remains secure even under pressure. These components are durable and simple to install or remove, making them suitable for both temporary and permanent use.

Rated to PN10, this connector can withstand pressures up to 10 bar (approx. 145 psi). It offers long-lasting performance in both harsh weather and chemically aggressive environments, making it an excellent solution for various fluid systems.

The 27mm HSS (High-Speed Steel) hole saw drill bit is designed for precision cutting in metal, wood, and plastic. Its durable, heat-resistant steel construction ensures long life and efficient performance in both professional and DIY settings.
