This water butt extension connector is a practical and adaptable accessory designed to improve your water butt or rain barrel’s functionality. It features a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, providing a useful 50mm extension to make filling watering cans or connecting hoses easier.

The connector has a 3/4" BSP thread size, suitable for a 26mm hole. Installation is simple – it can be screwed directly into existing female threads on your container. If your barrel doesn’t have pre-threaded holes, you can still install the connector by creating a hole at your preferred location.

Once installed, this extension protrudes 50mm outward, giving ample space to attach hoses or fill containers comfortably. This enhances the accessibility of stored rainwater, making your water butt setup more convenient to use.

The included back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to the water butt. The back nut offers a solid lock, ensuring the fitting remains tight even under pressure. Both components are straightforward to install and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent applications.
