The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, it delivers a practical 50mm extension to help you fill watering cans or connect hoses more easily.

Compatible with a 3/4" BSP thread size that fits a 26mm hole, this connector can be simply screwed into existing female threads on your container. If your barrel does not have pre-installed threads, you can also install it by creating a suitable hole where needed.

Once fitted, the connector extends outward by 50mm, providing plenty of clearance for hose attachment or container filling. This makes accessing the water stored in your barrel more convenient, enhancing your rainwater harvesting system’s usability.

The kit’s back nut and washers secure the extension firmly to your water butt. The back nut ensures a strong lock to keep the fitting in place even under pressure. Both components are straightforward to install and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent setups. Their robust construction guarantees durability and longevity, even in tough outdoor conditions.

The washers distribute tightening pressure evenly across the surface, protecting against damage or deformity during installation. They also provide an effective seal that helps prevent leaks, ensuring a watertight connection—essential for maintaining system integrity and avoiding water wastage.
