The water butt extension connector is a practical accessory designed to improve the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. It features a BSP male thread at one end and a BSP female thread at the other, providing a convenient 50mm extension that simplifies filling watering cans or attaching hoses.

With a 3/4" BSP thread size suitable for a 26mm hole, this connector can be easily screwed into existing female threads on your container if fitted. This makes it an ideal upgrade for water butts already equipped with threads. If your barrel lacks a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be fitted by drilling a hole at the desired location.

Once installed, the extension protrudes 50mm outward, offering plenty of room for attaching hoses or filling containers with ease. This extension improves access to the water stored inside, enhancing the overall usability of your rainwater collection system. Whether you want to make watering can refills simpler or create a more accessible hose outlet, this extension is a valuable addition.

The back nut and washers included in this kit secure the water butt extension in place. The back nut provides a firm lock, ensuring the fitting remains stable even under pressure. This combination is straightforward to fit and remove, suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
