The water butt adaptor featuring a ½” BSP Male–Female thread provides a practical and adaptable solution for rainwater collection containers. If your container lacks a pre-formed thread, the adaptor can still be securely fitted directly to the barrel. Simply create a hole in the desired location on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the adaptor, then insert it through the hole. Secure the adaptor by placing the washer and nut inside the barrel and tightening them. This method guarantees washers are positioned on both sides, providing a strong, leak-proof seal.
