The water butt adaptor with a ½” BSP Male–Female thread is a practical and adaptable solution for rainwater collection containers. It is designed for easy installation and can be screwed directly into existing female threads if your container is already fitted with one. If your container does not have a built-in thread, the adaptor can still be securely attached directly to the barrel. Simply drill a hole in the desired position on your water butt, remove the rear nut and one washer from the adaptor, then insert it through the hole. Secure the adaptor by placing the washer and nut inside the barrel and tightening them. This ensures washers are positioned both inside and outside the container, creating a strong, leak-proof seal.
