The water butt adaptor with a ½” BSP Male–Female thread is a practical and versatile solution for your rainwater collection containers. It is designed for easy installation and can be screwed directly into existing female threads if your container is already equipped with one. If your container does not have a pre-formed thread, the adaptor can still be securely attached directly to the barrel. Simply drill a hole at the desired position on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the adaptor, then insert it through the hole. Secure the adaptor by placing the washer and nut on the inside of the barrel and tightening. This configuration ensures washers are positioned on both the inside and outside of the container, creating a strong, leak-proof seal.
