The water butt adaptor with a ½” BSP Male–Female thread offers a practical and adaptable solution for rainwater collection containers. It is designed for easy installation and can be screwed directly into existing female threads if your container already has one. This makes it an ideal upgrade for your current water harvesting setup, fitting seamlessly with your existing system.

If your container lacks a pre-formed thread, the adaptor can still be firmly attached directly to the barrel. Simply create a hole in the desired spot on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the adaptor, then insert it through the hole. Secure it by placing the washer and nut on the inside of the barrel and tightening. This arrangement ensures washers are positioned inside and outside the container, providing a secure, leak-proof seal.
