The water butt connector with a female BSP outlet provides a practical and versatile solution for your rainwater collection barrels. Designed for easy installation, it can be screwed directly into existing female threads if your container is already fitted with one. This makes it a convenient choice for upgrading your current water harvesting system with minimal effort, ensuring a seamless fit with your existing setup.

Where your container lacks a pre-formed thread, the connector can still be securely attached directly to the barrel. To do this, simply drill a hole in the preferred location on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the connector, then insert it through the hole. The connector is then secured by placing the washer and nut on the inside of the barrel and tightening firmly. This arrangement ensures that washers sit on both the inside and outside of the container, creating a reliable, leak-proof seal.
