The water butt connector with a female BSP outlet offers a practical and versatile solution for your rainwater collection containers. It is designed for easy installation and can be screwed directly into existing female threads if your container already has one. If your container does not have a pre-formed thread, the connector can still be securely fitted directly onto the barrel. Simply drill a hole in the desired location on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the connector, then insert it through the hole. The connector is then fastened by placing the washer and nut on the inside of the barrel and tightening firmly. This arrangement ensures washers are positioned on both the inside and outside of the container, creating a strong, leak-proof seal.
